本标准规定了建筑用生石灰的术语和定义、分类与标记、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志、运输、储存及质量证明书。
本标准适用于建筑工程用的(气硬性)生石灰与生石灰粉。不包括水硬性生石灰，其他用途的生石灰也可参考使用。
