1.0.1 This code was formulated with a view to implementing the guidelines and policies on safety production of China in the construction of shuttering engineering, to achieving advanced technology, economy and rationality, convenience and applicability, and to ensuring the safety production. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design, fabrication, installation and removal of the shuttering of cast-in-place concrete work in construction. 1.0.3 During the design and construction of shuttering, the materials, schemes and constructional measures shall be selected reasonably based on the actual conditions of engineering; the requirements of the shuttering on strength, stability and stiffness during the process of transportation, installation and application shall be met, and the finalized and standardized shuttering supports and members should be preferred, so as to reduce the work load of fabrication and installation and to improve the reuse rate. 1.0.4 In addition to the requirements of this code, the design, fabrication, installation and removal of the shuttering work in construction still shall comply with those specified in the current relevant standards of the Nation.
