1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to implementing national laws and regulations as well as technical and economic policies in urban nightscape lighting design, shaping the urban image in the night, increasing urban charming, enriching people's activities at night, achieving advanced technology, economic and rational, energy conservation, environment protection, safe application, convenient maintenance and management as well as implementing green lights.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the nightscape lighting design of urban constructed, renovated and expanded, buildings, structures, particular landscape elements, commercial pedestrian streets, squares, parks, advertisement, signs, etc.
1.0.3 In addition to this code, the urban nightscape lighting design shall comply with those specified in the relevant current standards of China.
