本标准是根据GB/T 1.3-1997《标准化工作导则第1单元：标准的起草与表述规则 第3部分：产品标准编写规定》的规定制定的。本标准规定了彭润土橡胶遇水膨胀止水条的产品分类及型号、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输及贮存。本标准适用于以彭润土为主要原料，添加橡胶及其他助剂加工而成的遇水膨胀止水条。主要应用于各种建筑物、构筑物、隧道、地下工程及水利工程的缝隙止水防渗。
