本规范规定了以电热元件为加热源的在常压下工作的额定功率小于2kW的自动电饭锅能源效率的计量要求、计量检测程序、计量检测方法、计量检测结果评定准则和检测报告等内容。
本规范适用于自动电饭锅能源效率计量监督检测，委托检测可参考本规范进行。生产和销售自动电饭锅的单位亦可参照本规范进行检测。
接受检测的自动电饭锅应是生产者自检合格的产品，或者是销售者进口、销售的商品。
