JJF 1914-2021 Calibration Specification for Metallurgical Microscopes 1 Scope This specification is applicable to the calibration of metallurgical microscopes with monocular or binocular viewing systems, as well as those equipped with image sensors for image reception. 2 Normative references The normative references of this specification are as follows: JJF 1071-2010 The Rules for Drafting National Calibration Specification JB/T 10077-1999 Metallurgical microscope For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. 3 Overview A metallurgical microscope is an optical instrument used for observing and measuring the microstructure of metals. According to the way of metallurgical microscopes observing object images, the metallurgical microscope can be classified into eyepiece observation type and image sensor reception type. 4 Metrological characteristics 4.1 Relative deviation between the centers of the left and right fields of view for binocular microscopes Vertical: not greater than 0.2 mm; Lateral: not greater than 0.2 mm (outer position); not greater than 0.4 mm (inner position). 4.2 Magnification error of the objective lens The maximum permissible error (MPE) for objective lens magnification generally does not exceed ±5%.
