This verification regulation is applicable to the verification for all new-built, in-use or repaired portable methane-carbon monoxide detectors (hereinafter referred to as detector).
I Overview
The detector is mainly used for the measurement and warning of methane and carbon monoxide concentration below the coalmine well. The detector is composed of methane sensors, carbon monoxide sensors and secondary meter.
II Technical Requirements
1 Appearance and Power-on Inspection
1.1 Perfect appearance and complete structure; the instrument name, type, name of manufacturer, date of production, serial number, explosion protection mark and safety mark, and so on shall be complete and clear.
1.2 The detector must meet the explosion-proof requirements specified in GB 3836-1983 "Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmosphere".
1.3 The new exfactory detectors shall have complete auxiliaries accompanied by manufacturer's operation instruction and products' qualification certificate.
1.4 Reliable linkage of the detector, each motion component of which shall be able to be adjusted normally; the button to detect the interconversion between methane and carbon monoxide or the function to detect the automatic switching shall be equipped with.
1.5 After the detector is energized, all parts shall be able to work normally with correspondingly clear and stable display of each display part. There shall be obvious differences between methane detection state and carbon monoxide detection state.
1.6 Supply voltage shall meet the work requirements of detectors and have undervoltage indication.
2 Intrinsic Error
The difference between the indicating value and standard value of the detector shall not exceed the requirements in Table 1 and Table 2 at the normal working condition.
