1 Scope
This standard specifies the types of and class rating for commercial motor-vehicles of passenger transport, as well as the contents, rules and requirements of class rating.
This standard is applicable to the class rating for the buses and passenger cars used for passenger transportation on operational road, including Category M2, Class B of Category M3, and Class III.

vehicles used for passenger transportation on operational road, including buses and passenger cars
3.1.1
bus
buses used for passenger transportation on operational road, including Category M2, Class B of Category M3, and Class III
3.1.2
passenger car
vehicles used for passenger transportation on operational road, with a maximum of nine seats (including the driver's seat), which are designed and manufactured primarily for carrying passengers as well as their carry-on baggage and/or temporary items
