NB/T 47052-2016 Simple pressure vessels English Translation
1 Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the construction requirements for the type and materials, design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of simple pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as "vessels").
1.2 This standard is applicable to mass-produced vessels that meet the following conditions simultaneously:
a) The design pressure is less than or equal to 1.6 MPa;
b) The design temperature is greater than or equal to -20°C and the maximum working temperature is less than or equal to 150°C;
c) The volume is less than or equal to 1.0 m3;
d) The product of working pressure and volume is less than or equal to 1.0 MPa·m3;
e) The medium is air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, inert gas, water vapor obtained by evaporation of medical distilled water, or a mixed gas of the above gas (vapor); the medium is allowed to contain other components such as oil that are insufficient to change the characteristics of the medium, but its flash point or ignition point shall be more than 30°C higher than the maximum working temperature of the vessels and do not affect the compatibility with the material;
f) The structure meets the requirements of 4.1.1.
1.3 The following products are not within the scope of this standard:
a) Vessels used by military equipment, nuclear installations, aerospace vehicles, offshore installations and ships;
b) Non-independent pressure-bearing parts on the machine (such as compressor cylinder, etc.);
c) Fire extinguisher;
d) Quick-opening vessels;
e) Mobile vessels;
f) Vessels to be designed for fatigue analysis;
g) Vessels subjected to direct flame heating;
h) Vacuum vessels;
i) Hazardous chemical packaging.
1.4 Boundary scope of vessels
1.4.1 When the vessel is connected to an external pipe:
a) The groove face of the first girth joint of welded connection;
b) The end face of the first threaded joint of threaded connection;
c) The first flange sealing surface of flange connection;
d) The first sealing surface of special connecting piece or tube fittings connection.
1.4.2 Pressure head, flat covers and fasteners for connected pipes, handholes, etc.
1.4.3 Welded joints between non-pressure parts and pressure parts.
1.4.4 Non-pressure parts directly connected to the vessels, e.g. support, etc.
1.4.5 Overpressure relief device directly connected to the vessel.
