The following main technical changes have been made with respect to JB/T 4712.1-2007: ——The design basis of this part is the relevant requirements in NB/T 47042-2014 Horizontal Vessel; ——The upper diameter limit of saddle support is expanded to DN6 000mm according to GB/T 9019-2015 Nominal diameter of pressure vessels, and a saddle support series in diameter of DN4 100mm to DN6 000mm is added, including light saddle supports, heavy saddle supports and saddle supports with 150° angle of contact. ——The dimensions of backing plate, base plate and corresponding rib plate are calculated and adjusted; ——The materials of saddle supports are adjusted to Q235B, Q345B and Q345R; ——The service temperature of saddle support is adjusted to “may be used at conditions of -40℃~200℃”, and when the service temperature is lower than -40℃, the way of material selection is also given; ——The limit of seismic fortification intensity of degree 8 in JB/T 4712.1-2007 is cancelled.
