本标准规定了纸与纸板厚度测定仪的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于纸张、纸板及瓦楞纸板等片状材料，采用接触法测量其厚度的厚度测定仪(以下简称“厚度仪”)。厚度仪使用中的周期技术状态检查亦应参照使用。
