This is a revision of QB/T 1097-1991 Steel filing cabinet.
In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to QB/T 1097-1991:
——The “Terms and definitions” is added (see Clause 3);
——The product classification is modified (see Clause 4, Clause 3 of Edition 1991);
——The requirements for overall dimension are deleted (see 3.1 and 3.2 of Edition 1991);
——The requirements for main dimension are added (see 5.1.1);
——The requirements for overall dimension deviation are modified (see 5.1.2; 4.1 of Edition 1991);
——The requirements for geometrical tolerance are modified. The requirements for flatness, place difference degree, sag, swing range, touchdown stability, drawer depth are added, the requirements for vertical degree of adjoining sides and parting are modified; the requirements for planeness and parallelism are deleted (see 5.2; 4.2 and 4.8.2 of Edition 1991);
——The material requirements are deleted (see 4.3 of Edition 1991);
——The requirements for thickness of steel plate are added (see 5.3);

This standard replaces the former professional standard QB/T 1097-1991 Steel filing cabinet issued by the former Ministry of Light Industry from the implementation date of this standard.
