本标准适用于在商用场合使用，以电磁方式加热的灶具及灶单元，其额定电压单相器具不超过250V，其他器具不超过480V。
利用其他能源形式或其他加热方式的组合式器具，其电磁加热部分也适用于本标准。
本标准不适用于：
--家用电磁灶；
--专为工业用途而设计的电磁灶；
--在有腐蚀性或爆炸性空气（粉尘、蒸汽或可燃气）等特殊状态的场所使用的器具。
