1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of recliners for passenger cars.
This standard is applicable to recliners for M1 car seats, including power and manual recliners. Manual recliners include continuous manual recliners and dis-continuous manual recliners. For recliners for M2 and M3 car seats, this standard may serve as a reference.
