Specification for measuring thrust of solid propellant rocket motors
This standard specifies the design, installation, debugging, calibration and operation methods of the axial thrust measurement system in the ground test of solid propellant rocket motors.
Measurement range: the thrust of the balance segment is within the range of 5×102 ~ 1×106N.
Uncertainty of measurement: <0.5% for digital measurement system; <2.0% for analog measurement system.
1 Technical requirements of thrust measurement system
1.1 System composition
As shown in the figure, the system is composed of test frame, in-situ calibration device and electric measurement system.
a. The digital measurement system provides the official data of the test. Generally, two independent digital measurement systems are set up, one of which serves as a measurement backup.
b. The analog system provides reference data for the test, and is mainly used as the measuring and monitoring equipment.
1.2 Technical requirements
The instruments and equipment such as test frame, force measurement sensor, in-situ calibration device, transmission line, data acquisition and processing device and their performance must meet the technical requirements of this specification.
