QJ 1118A‐1995 General requirements for the design, manufacturing and acceptance of test racks for solid rocket motor
1 Scope
1.1 Subject content
This standard specifies the general requirements for design, manufacturing acceptance, performance test, maintenance and use of test racks for solid rocket motor (hereinafter referred to as "test racks").
1.2 Application scope
This standard is applicable to all test racks for solid rocket motor (hereinafter referred to as "motor") at standing test.
1.3 Classification
Test racks are generally classified into the following four types according to their uses.
1.3.1 Structural test racks
It is suitable for the conceptual stage of motor, which is used to verify the feasibility of structural concept of motor. Structural test rack requires good versatility, simple structure, durability and simple operation, and usually adopts rolling element test rack.
1.3.2 Performance test rack
It is suitable for the test at motor engineering development (including prototype sample, test prototype, flight model (for satellite)) stage and finalization stage, and is used to obtain reliable performance data. Generally, it is designed with the motor, with high thrust measurement requirements. Elastic element test racks with in-situ calibration device is usually used.
1.3.3 Rotary test racks
It can provide rotary support for the motor, make the motor rotate at the required speed, and ensure that the measuring system can continuously measure parameters such as pressure, thrust, speed and temperature during the rotation process.
