Storage specification for coastal defense missiles
1 Scope
Store the missile in an environment with relative humidity below 40%, so as to ensure the quality of the missile and prevent it from failing due to long-term storage.
2 Storage conditions and life
2.1 Environmental conditions of storage warehouses
a. Temperature: 5°C ~ 40°C;
b. Relative humidity: no greater than 80%;
c. No corrosive and polluting gases and substances in the warehouse.
2.2 Storage life
2.2.1 If packed in enveloped clothing filled with desiccant, the storage life of missiles would be three years in warehouses or six months in the natural environment.
2.2.2 If packed in metal containers, the storage life of missiles would be five years in warehouses and one year in the natural environment.
3 Storage method
3.1 Storage in envelope packaging
3.1.1 Envelope packaging material
Plastic cloth: rubberized cloth.
3.1.2 Unsealing form
a. With sealing zipper for frequent unsealing;
b. Without sealing zipper for long-time unsealing.
3.1.3 Packaging form
a. Vacuum is pumped in the outer envelope of the missile body, and the pressure difference is 5 × 103 Pa;
b. The outer envelope of the missile body is filled with dry air (dew point -55°C), and the pressure difference is 3 × 102 Pa.
One of the above two packing forms may be selected.
3.1.4 Packaging principle
Envelope packaging refers to put desiccant (silica gel or molecular sieve) of 0.5 ~ 0.8 kg/m2 into cloth bag per kilogram, and evenly place it inside the gland on the surface of the missile, and replace the dried desiccant once a year, and control the environmental humidity around the missile with the moisture absorption ability of the desiccant.
