QJ 502B-2014 Specification for aluminium alloy and copper alloy forgings
1 Scope
This specification specifies the requirements, quality assurance provisions and preparation for delivery of aluminium alloy and copper alloy forgings.
This specification is applicable to aluminium alloy and copper alloy free forgings, die forgings and rolled forgings for aerospace products.

3 Requirements
3.1 Design
3.1.1 The classes of forgings shall be determined by the purchaser or the design unit, and shall be indicated on the part drawing or in the special technical specification. Those without a specified class shall be regarded as class III forgings.
