Chapter 1 General Provisions Article 1.0.1 This code is applicable to the erection and acceptance for 0.5~6MW unit capacity thermal power plant or thermal power plant building engineering and implemented by reference for under 0.5MW engineering. Article 1.0.2 This code is prepared by summarizing erection experience of domestic thermal power plant, aiming at erection characteristic of thermal power plant and targeting the major engineering. Article 1.0.3 The unspecified contents in this code shall be carried out in accordance with codes for erection and acceptance for construction engineering of the current national standards and the current standards issued by ministry. Article 1.0.4 New materials, structures and erection technologies shall not be used until they are provided with identification certificate and pass the field test. Article 1.0.5 In extension engineering, original building (structure) data shall be obtained and reliable measures shall be taken to treat properly the connection of the new and old building (structure) to ensure the safety of the original building (structure). Article 1.0.6 If the loads not considered in the design are arranged on the building structure (e.g. lifting heavy objects, pulling wind-blocking rope and stacking equipment), checking shall be carried out and the consent of the design organization shall be obtained prior to arrangement.
