1 Scope This specification specifies the prefabrication, installation and construction techniques, and quality requirements of jacket piping in petrochemical industry. This specification is applicable to the construction and acceptance of newly-constructed, re-constructed and extended-constructed engineering projects in petrochemical industry. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this specification. Jacket pipings are divided into full jackets and semi-jackets, as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
