1.0.1 The Specifications are formulated for the purpose of guaranteeing the anticorrosion quality of hydropower project steel structures including damper, trash screen, headstock gear, steel pressure tube, dirt remover and dam-passing traffic steel structure (hereinafter referred to as "hydraulic steel structure"), as well as extend their service life hereof.
1.0.2 The anticorrosion technology, process and inspection in all stages covering design, manufacturing, installation and acceptance inspection of hydraulic steel structures shall be compliant to the provisions of the Specifications.
1.0.3 The anticorrosion proposal of hydraulic steel structure can be selected on the base of comprehensive consideration of operating ambient, service condition, maintenance management condition and passing through the technical-economic comparison and demonstration.
1.0.4 In order to ensure the anticorrosion construction quality of the hydraulic steel structure, the experienced professional staff with some anticorrosion knowledge will be dispatched to supervise the construction quality of each process during the construction process.
1.0.5 Besides the provisions of the Specifications, the anticorrosion construction safety, labor protection and environmental protection of hydraulic steel structure shall be compliant to the provisions of the relevant national standards.
