1 Scope This standard specifies the site, environment, content, measuring point arrangement, equipment, instruments and methods of the test, calculation of the stress, measurement of the flexibility and assessment of structure strength and rigidity, and test report. This standard is applicable to the test and assessment of locomotive car body structure strength used for standard gauge railway and general purpose. The weight of each equipment may be measured in 0.1kN. 3.3 Vertical test load The vertical test load is the load acted on the car body along the direction vertical to the floor of car body. The vertical test load is 1.3 times of the car body weight load. 3.4
