1 Scope This standard specifies the order information, classification and designation, dimension, shape and reference weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of carbon steel wire strands for optical fiber cable tension members. A-type steel wire strand: common zinc coating and phosphating steel wire strand; B-type steel wire strand: steel wire strand with thick zinc coating. 3.2 The structure of the steel wire strand is 1×7, as shown in Table 1.
