本标准规定了打包用镀锌钢丝的分类、代号、尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、验收规则、包装、标志及质量证明书。本标准适用于采用热镀锌和电镀锌方式生产的棉花打包用镀锌钢丝，也适用于化纤、亚麻等包装捆扎用的镀锌钢丝。
