YD 5193-2014 Design Specifications for Internet Data Center Engineering
1 General principles
1.0.1 This specification is applicable to the newly-built Internet Data Center (IDC) engineering design, reconstruction and expansion engineering design shall refer to this specification on the basis of reasonable utilization of existing facilities.
1.0.2 The design of IDC shall follow the principle of openness, and the designed system shall possess standardization, modularization, reliability and expansibility.
1.0.3 The telecommunication equipment by engineering use must obtain the "telecommunication equipment access license" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
1.0.4 In the areas with seismic fortification intensity above 7 (including 7) in China, the main telecommunication equipment used in the telecommunication network must pass the seismic
performance test of telecommunication equipment.
1.0.5 In case of any contradiction between this specification and relevant national standards and specifications, the relevant provisions of national standards and specifications shall
be followed.
1.0.6 Under special conditions, when it is difficult to implement individual provisions in this specification, the reasons shall be fully discussed, and the report on measures taken shall be submitted to the competent department for approval.
3 Service
3.0.1 The following types of basic services are provided in IDC,
1). VIP computer room rental;
2). Host hosting;
3). Cabinet rental;
4). Server rental;
5). Virtual computer rental;
6). Bandwidth rental;
7). IP address rental.
More types of basic services in IDC are provided at the request of the communication service
provider.
3.0.2 Value-added services, as additional services in IDC purchased by users outside of basic services, can be provided, mainly including,

3.0.2 Value-added services, as additional services in IDC purchased by users outside of basic services, can be provided, mainly including,
1). Security protection, including firewall rental, VPN access, virus prevention, intrusion detection, anti-DDoS attack, traffic cleaning, webpage anti tampering, security scanning, security assessment, etc;
2). Data storage, including online storage, online backup, data backup and off site backup,
etc;
3). Traffic management, including load balancing, SSL acceleration, traffic statistical analysis, etc;
4). Maintenance management, including remote maintenance, equipment agent monitoring, equipment agent maintenance, etc;
5). Content management, including
