YD/T 5226-2015 Design Specifications for Local Multi-Service IP/MPLS Network Engineering
1 General
1.0.1 This specification is applicable to the design of local multi-service IP / MPLS network engineering.
1.0.2 Engineering design should implement the basic principles of "integrity, unity, advancement "and "economy, efficiency and safety" of the communication network, the technical system as specified in YD / T 2603 (Technical Requirements for multi-service IP / MPLS Networks ).
1.0.3 The telecommunications equipment used in engineering design shall obtain the "Network Access license for Telecommunications Equipment" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
1.0.4 The construction of telecommunication networks in areas with a seismic fortification intensity of 7 or above shall correspond to the requirements of seismic fortification, and the main telecommunication equipment shall correspond to the requirements of YD 5083 (Specifications for Seismic Test of Telecommunication Equipment).
1.0.5 Engineering design should implement national policies related to energy conservation and emission reduction and cyber security.
1.0.6 In case of any inconsistency between this specification and the relevant national standards, the provisions of the national standards shall be
followed. 1.0.7 If, under special conditions, it is really difficult to implement any provision of this specification, a report on the measures after full analysis
and discuss shall be submitted to the competent department for examination and approval.
2 Terms and symbols
2.1 Terms
2.1.1 Local Multi-Service IP/MPLS Network
Local IP/MPLS bearer network is a local network based on IP/MPLS technology. The network has multi-service bearing capacity, supports protection and recovery functions, network management functions, and supports time synchronization and clock synchronization.
2.1.2 Backbone IP Bearer Network
a backbone IP network built on the basis of IP/MPLS technology, with multi-service bearing capacity and protection and recovery function, mainly used for carrying telecom carrier-grade IP services of inter cities or provinces.
2.1.3 Core Equipment
core equipment, in local IP network, mainly used for service forwarding, with large-capacity forwarding function based on IP/MPLS, stronger routing and QoS function, and certain expansibility, that can provide interfaces at 10 Gbit/s and above.
2.1.4 Aggregation Equipment
aggregation equipment of the local IP bearer network is mainly used for service aggregation and forwarding. It shall have certain service access capabilities.
Aggregation equipment should have large capacity forwarding capabilities based on IP / MPLS, strong routing and QoS functions, can provide interfaces at 10 Gbit /s and above, support Multi-Service access interfaces, and should have certain scalability. The major components of the equipment should support redundant configurations.
2.1.5 Edge Access Equipment
Edge access device of the local IP bearer network is mainly used for service access and forwarding. The access equipment should have an IP / MPLS-based forwarding capability with appropriate capacity. It should support the function of certain QoS management, flow control, and other policy management for services. The equipment should provide abundant Service interfaces. 2.2 Symbols
