本标准规定了医用个人防护系统的组成与结构、要求、试验方法、标志和使用说明书、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于由头盔、头盔送风系统、一次性使用头罩、一次性使用防护衣等组成的医用个人防护系统，在手术室中、有创操作环境下，为防止带有潜在感染性的体液、微生物和颗粒物等对手术室医务人员躯体和头面部的喷溅提供隔离防护。
本标准不适用于正压或负压密合式医用个人防护系统。
