1 Scope
This standard is applicable to the emission control for the existing pollution sources in Chongqing, the environmental impact assessment for newly-built, renovated and expanded project, the design of the environment protection facilities for construction project as well as their completion acceptance and emission control after being put into service.
In accordance with the principle that the integrated emission standard and professional emission standard are not executed at the same time, the pollution sources different from boilers, industrial furnaces, and those beyond the applicable scope of national or local professional standards shall be in accordance with the requirements of this standard. As for the national standards or local professional standards issued after the implementation of this standard, the pollution source specified according to their application scope shall be in accordance with the corresponding air pollutants emission standard but not this standard.
This standard is applicable to pollutant emission allowed by law. The site selection of the newly-set pollution source and the management of the current pollution source in special protection area shall be in accordance with the relevant provisions in such laws, regulations and rules as Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste and Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment.
