1 Scope
This document specifies the product varieties, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, identification, packaging, transportation, storage, delivery and acceptance of gasoline engine oils prepared with base oil supplemented with multiple additives.
This document is applicable to the gasoline engine oils used in spark ignition four-stroke gasoline engine.

4 Product variety and marking
4.1 Product variety
4.1.1 This document covers 14 gasoline engine oil quality grades, i.e. SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL, GF-3, SM, GF-4, SN, SN+, GF-5, SP, GF-6A and GF-6B.

4.1.2 This document does not specify the variety of general internal combustion engine oils. For general internal combustion engine oils, the variety can be combined based on the variety of gasoline engine oils in this document and the variety of gasoline engine oils in GB 11122 as needed. Any general internal combustion engine oil shall meet all the technical requirements of its gasoline oil variety and diesel oil variety at the same time.
4.1.3 For each variety , the viscosity shall be graded according to GB/T 14906.

4.2 Product marking
4.2.1 Gasoline engine oil products shall be marked in the following way:
Quality grade Viscosity grade Gasoline engine oil
Example: SN 5W-30 gasoline engine oil.

4.1 Product variety
