This standard specifies the classification, basic requirements, performance test and inspection methods, technical requirements, types and marking codes of transport packages of dangerous goods (hereinafter referred to as transport packages).
This standard is applicable to the transport packages containing dangerous goods.
This standard is not applicable to:
a) Transport packages containing radioactive substance;
b) Transport packages for pressure containers containing compressed gas and liquefied gas;
c) Transport packages with net mass over 400kg;
d) Transport packages with volume over 450L.
