1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic principles for the design and manufacture of labels for pesticide products, the basic contents which shall be marked on labels and other requirements.
It is applicable to the label design and manufacture of commodity pesticide products (for sale, including imported ones).
It is not applicable to the label design and manufacture of exported pesticides and those that fall within the scope of pesticide management for genetically modified crops and biological control products.
