GB 32049-2015 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for household and similar purposes A.C. electric ventilating fans (English Version)
1 Scope
This standard specifies the minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, energy efficiency grades, evaluating values of energy conservation, test methods, inspection rules and marking of energy efficiency grades for household and similar purposes A.C. electric ventilating fans (hereinafter referred to as ventilating fans).
This standard is applicable to A.C. motor driven ventilating fan, whose single-phase rated voltage is not greater than 250V, rated input power not greater than 500W and diameter of blade wheel not greater than 500mm.
This standard is not applicable to ventilating fans for the following usages:
a) ventilating fans specially designed for industrial usage;
b) ventilating fans to be used under special conditions, e.g. where there exists corrosive or flammable and explosive gas, dust, steam or coal gas;
c) ventilating fans used for air heater, refrigeration equipment or air conditioner as well as air-to-air energy recovery equipment;
d) ventilating fans which are embedded in appliances (e.g. stove and microwave cooking appliances);
e) marine ventilating fans;
f) Type C ventilating fans, two-way air-out ventilating fans as well as Type B and Type D ventilating fans with maximum static pressure less than 25Pa.

energy efficiency values for ventilating fans
the ratio of measured air volume of ventilating fan to measured input power of fan blade drive motor under the testing condition specified in standard, expressed in cubic meter per minute watt [m3/(min•W)]
3.2
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for ventilating fans
the minimum energy efficiency values for ventilating fans under the testing condition specified in standard, expressed in cubic meter per minute watt [m3(min•W)]
3.3
reach minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for ventilating fans
the minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for ventilating fans after this standard has been implemented for a certain years
3.4
evaluating values of energy conservation for ventilating fans
the minimum energy efficiency index for energy-conservation ventilating fans under the testing condition specified in standard, expressed in cubic meter per minute watt [m3(min•W)]
