本标准代替GB/T 11807-1989《探查松脱零件的音响监测系统的特性、设计和运行程序》。
本标准与GB/T 11807-198相比主要有以下变化：
——增加了“外来物 foreign parts”的术语和定义；
——增加了系统设计的外部报警接口单元，并增加了相应的规定；
——频率范围由“fa=1kHz到fb=20kHz”，改为“fa和fb之间”（见4.4.2）;
——RMS监视器的频率范围由“0.7fa和1.5fb之间”，改为“fa和fb之间”；
——增加了对数字化记录单元的要求。
