The phosphate index is suitable for boilers with phosphate as a scale inhibitor. 4.1.5 When the stopped (standby) boiler is started (with preparation), the water quality of the boiler water shall meet the requirements of this standard within 8 hours or after the boiler water is concentrated by 10 times. 4.2 Water quality of natural circulation steam boilers and multifunctional boilers adopting external treatment 4.2.1 The water quality of the boiler feed water and boiler water of natural circulation steam boilers and multifunctional boilers adopting external treatment shall meet the requirements of Table 1. 4.2.2 For boilers supplying steam to turbines, the steam quality shall comply with the standard for steam drum boiler with a rated steam pressure falling within the range of 3.8 MPa to 5.8 MPa according to GB/T 12145. 4.2.3 For boilers with rated evaporating capacity larger than or equal to 10 t/h, the boiler feed water shall be deaerated; for the boiler with rated evaporating capacity less than 10 t/h, if local oxygen corrosion is found, deoxidation measures shall also be taken.
