Shell boilers—Part 7: Installation 1 Scope This document specifies the requirements for installation, commissioning and acceptance of shell boilers. GB/T 1576 Water quality for industrial boilers GB/T 2900.48 Electrotechnical terminology of boilers GB/T 12145 Quality criterion of water and steam for power plant and steam-generating equipment GB/T 16508.1 Shell boilers—Part 1: General requirements GB/T 16508.4 Shell boilers—Part 4: Fabrication, inspection and acceptance GB/T 16508.6 Shell boilers—Part 6: Combustion systems GB 50126 Code for construction of industrial equipment and pipeline insulation engineering GB 50211 Code for construction and acceptance of industrial furnaces building GB 50231 General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering GB 50264 Code for design of industrial equipment and pipeline insulation engineering GB 50273 Standard for construction and acceptance of boiler installation engineering GB 50275 Code for construction and acceptance of computer, fan and pump installation engineering JB/T 3271 Specification for travelling grate stokers NB/T 47050 Technical specification of reciprocating grate 3 Terms and definitions For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 2900.48 and GB/T 16508.1 apply. 4 Basic requirements 4.1 The boiler installation unit shall carry out construction in accordance with the requirements of the quality assurance system and ensure the effective operation of the on-site quality assurance system. 4.2 In the process of boiler installation, the inspection institution with the corresponding qualification shall supervise and inspect the items related to safety performance and the operation of the quality assurance system of the inspected unit. 4.3 Before installation, each component of the boiler shall obtain relevant technical documents and quality certificates of equipment manufacturing from the boiler manufacturer, and the materials used for installation shall enter the site and be used only after passing the acceptance. The finished products, semi-finished products and raw materials of pressure components made of alloy steel shall be re-inspected by 100% chemical composition spectral analysis. 4.4 Boiler installation shall comply with the installation instructions and drawings provided by the manufacturer. Installation shall be stopped once the pressure components are found to have quality problems affecting safe use. 4.5 Operators of boiler installation and commissioning shall be trained and obtain the corresponding special equipment operator certificates before on-site operations. 4.6 During installation, measures shall be taken to prevent noise, dust, arc light and radiation pollution and reduce the emission of construction waste. Measures shall be taken on the site for welding to prevent wind, rain, snow, dampness and cold, and preheating measures shall be taken when the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C. 4.7 After installation, the installation unit shall hand over relevant technical data to the user unit within 30 days after acceptance.
