ＧＢ／Ｔ２２０８４《含碱性或其他非酸性电解质的蓄电池和蓄电池组———便携式密封单体蓄电池》分为二个部分，本部分为ＧＢ／Ｔ２２０８４的第２部分。本部分代替国家标准ＧＢ／Ｔ１５１００—２００３《碱性或其他非酸性电解液的二次电池和电池组———密封金属氢化物镍可充单体电池》。ＧＢ／Ｔ２２０８４本部分规定了适合于任何方位下使用的便携式小方形、圆柱形和扣式密封金属氢化物镍单体蓄电池（简称电池）的型号、标志、尺寸、试验和要求。与ＧＢ／Ｔ１５１００—２００３相比，本部分的主要更改有以下几方面：
———增加了扣式电池，并规定了其命名方法（本部分５．１．３）、型号与尺寸（本部分６．２）、相关性能要
求（本部分表６、表８）；
———圆柱形电池按放电率分为Ｌ、Ｍ、Ｈ、Ｘ 四种类型，Ｍ 电池的要求与原标准相同，增加了其他三
种电池的要求；
———增加了Ｔ 和Ｒ 两种特殊类型的圆柱形电池，并规定了其特有的性能要求（本部分７．４．１．２．３、
７．４．２．３、７．６．２、７．６．３、７．９）；
———增加了圆柱形电池持续充电耐久性要求和试验方法（本部分７．４．２）；
———机械试验按ＩＥＣ６１９５９规定；
———型式批准检验中去掉了机械试验。
