本标准规定了由奥氏体、马氏体和铁素体耐腐蚀不锈钢制造的、在环境温度为15～25℃条件下进行试验时，紧定螺钉及类似的不受拉应力的紧固件的机械性能。在较高或较低温度下，其性能可能不同。本标准适用的紧定螺钉及类似的不受拉力的紧固件：螺纹公称直径d=1.6～24mm；符合GB/T 192规定的普通螺纹；符合GB/T 193规定的直径与螺距组合；符合GB/T 196规定的基本尺寸；符合GB/T 197规定的公差；任何形状的。本标准不适用于有特殊性能要求的紧固件，如可焊接性。本标准未规定特殊环境下耐腐蚀性和耐氧化性。
