本标准适用于肉及加工品、乳、皮张、内脏、动物饲料等畜禽产品中哺乳动物和反刍动物成分，和13种常见肉品或掺杂成分（骆驼、马、驴、牦牛、水牛、狗、猪、马鹿、羊、鸡、鸭、大鼠、小鼠）动物物种成分的定性检测。方法的最低检出限为（质量百分比）：水牛5%，哺乳、反刍、狗、羊、鸡、大鼠、小鼠为1%，骆驼、牦牛、马鹿、猪、马、驴、鸭的最低检测限为0.1%。
