This standard is applicable to the design and manufacture of refillable on-board cylinders which are used for storing hydrogen fuel on motor vehicles, with a nominal working pressure of 35 MPa and 70 MPa, a nominal volume of more than or equal to 20 L but not more than 450 L, and a working temperature of not lower than -40°C but not higher than 85°C.
