1. Scope
This standard provides the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirement, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for household and similar electrical washing machine (hereinafter referred to as "washing machine").
This standard is applicable to washing machines (including extractor) used by non-professional people at places like homes, stores and schools with single-phase rated voltage not more than 250V.
2. Normative Reference Files
The articles of the following standards referred to in this standard will become part of this standard. None of the amendments (not including error correction) or revisions of the reference files with date clearly indicated shall apply to this standard. However, the parties coming into agreement under this standard are encouraged to find the possibility of using the latest edition of the following files. For undated reference files, the latest edition shall apply to this standard.
