本标准代替GB/T 4616-1984《酚醛模塑料丙酮可溶物》（未模塑态材料的表观树脂含量）的测定》。
本标准规定了重量法测定丙酮在其沸点附近从酚醛模塑料粉末中抽提的可溶物的含量。
本标准仅适用于以线型酚醛树脂为基材的模塑料，而不适用于以甲阶酚醛树脂为基材的模塑料，因为后类树脂不能完全溶于丙酮。
本标准与GB/T 4616-1984主要不同如下：
