Introduction of GB/T 6173-2015

This standard specifies the types, dimensions, specifications and designation of hexagon thin nuts with fine pitch thread. This standard is applicable to Grades A and B hexagon thin nuts chamfered with fine pitch thread, with nominal diameter of thread, D, equal to 8 mm~64 mm, and performance grades of 04, 05, A2-025, A2-035, A4-025, A4-035, CU2, CU3 and AL4. Grade A products are used for nuts with D less than or equal to 16mm; Grade B products are used for nuts with D greater than 16mm.
