1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage of cast iron and copper gate valves, stop valves, ball valves and check valves with screwed connections.
This standard applies to:
Gate valves, stop valves, ball valves and check valves with screwed connections. (hereinafter referred to as valves).
Gray cast iron and malleable cast iron valves whose nominal pressure is not larger than PN 16 and nominal diameter not larger than DN 100.
Spheroidal graphite iron valves whose nominal pressure is not larger than PN 25 and nominal dimension not larger than DN 100.
Copper alloy valves whose nominal pressure is not larger than PN 40 and working temperature is higher than 180℃.
The operating mediums are water, non-corrosive liquid, air and saturated vapor, etc.
