This document is drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.12020 "Guidelines for Standardization Part 1: Structure of standardized documents and drafting rules.
This document replaces GB/T 8464-2008 "iron and copper threaded connection valves" compared with GB/T 8464-2008, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The addition of stainless steel valves (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2008 edition).
b) increased the "wrench" terminology and definitions (see 3.1).
c deleted the parameter requirements (see 32) c) of the 2008 edition
d) Changed the minimum wall thickness requirement for the valve body (see 6.5, 4.2.7)d of the 2008 edition)
e) Changed bonnet requirements (see 6.6, 4.3 of the 2008 edition)
f) Changed gate requirements (see 6.8, 4.4 of the 2008 edition)

1 Scope
This document specifies the iron, copper and stainless steel threaded connection of the gate valve, globe valve, ball valve, on the return valve structure type, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This document applies to.
Nominal pressure is not greater than PN16, nominal size is not greater than DN100 gray cast iron valves.
Nominal pressure of not more than PN25 nominal size of not more than DN100 malleable iron valves and ductile iron valves.
Nominal pressure not greater than PN40 nominal size not greater than DN100 copper alloy valves and stainless steel valves
Operating temperature is not higher than 180 "C, working medium for water, non-corrosive liquids, air, saturated steam, etc.
Note 1: This document refers to the valve threaded connection gate valve, globe valve, ball valve or check valve.
Note 2: Nominal size greater than or equal to DN50 valve working medium does not include air saturated steam

Typical structure of threaded connection gate valve is shown in Figure 1
5 Material
5.1 iron, copper and stainless steel valve main parts materials recommended for selection see Table 1 ~ Table 3. In the conditions of ensuring product performance, other materials are allowed to replace.

5.2 gray cast iron parts should meet the technical requirements of GB/T12226, malleable iron parts should meet the technical requirements of GB/T 9440, ductile iron parts should meet the technical requirements of GB/T 12227, copper alloy castings should meet the technical requirements of GB/T 12225, copper alloy forgings should meet the technical requirements of GB/T 29528 The technical requirements of stainless steel castings should comply with the provisions of GB/T 12230, the technical requirements of stainless steel forgings should comply with the provisions of GB/T 35741.
6 Technical requirements
6.1 Pressure - temperature rating
6.1.1 pressure-temperature rating by the valve body and internal parts material smaller pressure-temperature rating to determine
6.1.2 Pressure-temperature rating of iron valves in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 17241.7.
6.1.3 copper alloy valve pressure - temperature rating in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 15530.8
6.1.4 stainless steel valves pressure-temperature rating in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 12224
6.2 Structure length
The structure of the valve length in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 12221, or in accordance with the requirements of the order contract
6.3 Connection end
6.3.1 The pipe threads at both ends of the valve should comply with GB/T 7306 (all parts) GB/T 7307, GB/T 12716
6.3.2 The surface roughness Ra of the pipe thread should be no greater than 6.3 The surface of the thread should be smooth and free from obvious defects such as broken teeth.
6.3.3 The deviation of the axis angle of the pipe thread at both ends shall be no more than 1.
6.4 Minimum flow diameter
The minimum diameter of the valve flow channel should be not less than the provisions of Table 4

Product inspection is divided into factory inspection and type test

8.2.1 Inspection items
Factory inspection items include 6.8.16.1316.15 to 6.17 listed in the project
8.2.2 Group lot and sampling principles
With the same category, the same species, the same type of product grouping, factory inspection of the samples required from the group lot extraction. Sampling according to the provisions of GB/T2828.1-2012, the use of special test level S3, the normal test a sampling program.
8.2.3 Judgment rules
Factory inspection items, receiving quality limit (AQL) in accordance with the provisions of Table 13

a) manufacturer's name or trademark.
b) nominal size.
