pressure-temperature rating of special pressure class shall be as specified in Table 2-1B to Table 2-28B. For PN series valves, the pressure-temperature rating of standard pressure class shall be as specified in Table 2-29A to Table2-71A, and the pressure-temperature rating of special pressure class shall be as specified in Table 2-29B to Table 2-71B. If the pressure-temperature rating of standard pressure class is not specified in Table 2-29A to Table 2-71A, it may be as specified in GB/T 9124-2010. The pressure-temperature rating of the valve of limited pressure class shall not exceed the value calculated according to Annex A. 3.1.2 Valve of standard pressure class Valves that meet the requirements of this standard, and valves other than those meeting the requirements for special pressure class valves given in Clause 8 and the requirements for limited pressure class valves given in Annex A, are defined as standard pressure class, and their pressure-temperature ratings are as specified in 3.1.1. 3.1.3 Valves of special pressure class Valves that meet the requirements of 3.1.2 and the inspection requirements specified in Clause 8 are defined as special pressure class, and their pressure-temperature ratings are as specified in 3.1.1. Special pressure class ratings do not apply to flanged end valves. 3.1.4 Valves of limited pressure class Welded or threaded valves that meet the requirements for limited pressure class given in Annex A and have the pressure-temperature rating not exceeding the value calculated according to Annex A and the nominal diameter not greater than DN65 are defined as limited pressure class. The requirements for standard pressure class valves are applicable to limited pressure class valves unless otherwise specified in Annex A. The pressure-temperature rating of limited pressure class does not apply to flanged valves. 3.1.5 Valves of intermediate rating Class series welded or threaded valves, and Class 400 flanged valves of standard pressure class may have the intermediate rating between the listed rated temperatures or rated pressures determined with linear interpolation method according to 6.1.5. However, linear interpolation method is not allowed to determine the nominal pressure class for flanged valves of other pressure class. 3.1.6 Weldment Valves welded in whole or in part with castings, forgings, bars, plates or pipes shall meet the following requirements: a) GB150.1 and GB150.3-2011 for assembly welding; b) GB150.4 for heat treatment of welding; c) GB150.4 for weld inspection and acceptance; d) The requirements mentioned above are not applicable to seal welding or attachment welding, such as the welding of back seal seats, valve seat rings, lifting lugs and auxiliary connectors. 3.2 Rated temperature Rated temperature refers to the temperature corresponding to pressure rating, and is the highest temperature applicable to the pressure-containing housing of the valve, i.e. the highest allowable temperature of the working medium.
