Test method for qualified work zone of heat treatment furnace 1 Scope This document specifies the classification of heat treatment furnaces by temperature uniformity, initial test and periodic test of qualified work zone, test systems, test methods, evaluation of results, recording and reporting, and management requirements. This document is applicable to determining the qualified work zone of a heat treatment furnace that meets the temperature uniformity requirements within the service temperature range. This document is not applicable to the work zone in the continuous furnaces without fixed process temperature or required temperature uniformity.
