1 Scope
This Part of JB/T 5000 specifies the general check requirements for the spare parts and auxiliary equipment of heavy machinery products (mainly including smelting, rolling, heavy metal forming machinery, continuous casting machinery, mining machinery, matching machinery and other machinery) as well as the purchased semi-finished products (raw materials).
Where no special requirements are stated in the product drawing, technical document or technical specifications for procurement, all shall meet those specified in this Part.
This Part is not applicable to the pressure vessels.

The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Part of JB/T 5000, constitute provisions of this Part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.
