本 标 准 规定了手持式直向砂轮机的基本参数和型式、技术要求、试验方法和检验规则等。
本标准适用于一般环境条件下，采用平板砂轮，用圆周面对钢铁进行磨削的交直流两用、单相串激、三相工频及三相中频手持式直向砂轮机(以下简称砂轮机)。
本标准不适用于手持式软轴砂轮机等其它类型的砂磨工具。对于特殊环境条件下使用的砂轮机.除应符合本标准外，还应符合其它专业标准的规定。
