Unless otherwise specified, the supply state shall be as follows: a) Grade A steel castings shall be supplied in normalized or annealed state; b) Grade B and Grade B+ steel castings shall be supplied in normalized or normalized + tempered state; c) Grade C steel castings shall be supplied in normalized + tempered or quenched + tempered state; d) Grade D and E steel castings shall be supplied in quenched + tempered state; e) Generally, carbon steel castings are supplied in normalized or normalized + tempered state, or in a state determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser. 4.2 Chemical composition 4.2.1 General requirements
