This part is applicable to composite brake shoes for rolling stock with maximum running speed not more than 120km/h and axle load not more than 25t, and composite brake shoes for vehicle with maximum running speed not more than 100km/h and axle load of 27t to 30t. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. JH1 brake shoes are suitable for DC drive locomotive, JH2 brake shoes are suitable for AC drive locomotive. 4.4 Type L brake shoes for locomotive is JL brake shoes, which is suitable for DC drive locomotive with axle load not more than 23t. 4.5 Type H brake shoes for vehicle include LH1, LH2 and LH3 brake shoes; LH1 brake shoes are suitable for vehicle with maximum running speed not more than 100km/h and axle load of 27t to 30t; LH2 brake shoes are suitable for vehicle with maximum running speed not more than 120km/h and axle load not more than 25t; The LH3 brake shoes are suitable for vehicle with a maximum running speed of not more than 100km/h and an axle load of not more than 25t. 4.6 LH2 and LH3 brake shoes for vehicle include two specifications with nominal thickness of 45mm and 50mm. 4.7 Type L brake shoes for vehicle is LL brake shoes, which are suitable for the vehicle with the maximum running speed not exceeding 90km/h and the axle load not exceeding 21t. 5 Technical requirements 5.1 General requirements Under normal application conditions and specified application limits: a) The braking frictional property of brake shoes shall meet the requirements of this part; b) Brake shoes shall not be broken; the brake shoe nose does not cause loosening and deformation affecting the use and disassembly; the friction body does not produce deformation, falling off, damage and falling block and other defects; friction surface does not produce uplift, ablation and other defects; cracks may appear in the middle groove of LL brake shoes for vehicle. c) Brake shoes shall not make uneven abrasion, ditch-shaped abrasion and plough-shaped abrasion on wheel tread; the friction surface of brake shoes shall not generate metal inlays that brings the above-mentioned wheel damages or affects the abrasion performance of braking friction. The metal inlays shall be able to fall off. d) The wheel tread shall not have damages like hot spot, heat crack and thermal spalling and the adhesion coefficient of wheel-rail shall not be declined obviously due to the reason of brake shoes. e) The brake shoes shall not generate continuous strident noise. 5.2 Structure and dimension
